Sanding booths ensure that dust is absorbed from the environment during sanding, grinding, deburring, and polishing of parts. Our downdraft design creates a controlled airflow that captures dust at the source, protecting your workers and maintaining a cleaner workspace.
Clean, filtered air enters from above and flows downward through the work area. As operators sand or grind parts, dust particles are immediately drawn down through a floor-level exhaust system. This downdraft airflow prevents dust from escaping into the surrounding factory environment and keeps it away from breathing zones.
Captured dust passes through a crusher at the entrance of the dust collection unit. The crusher breaks down larger particles to protect downstream filters and ensures efficient dust transfer to the collection bucket. Fine particles continue through high-efficiency polyester PTFE filters that capture even submicron dust. An automatic pulse-cleaning system uses compressed air to clean the filters, releasing accumulated dust into the collection tank. This self-cleaning process is controlled by the electronic panel, maintaining consistent airflow and filtration performance.
